I think Assange's supporters are waging an info war. They're saying wildly inaccurate things such as "Assange was arbitrarily detained for 7 years" when the fact is that he could've left at any time, and they also have weird conspiracy theories about those Swedish women who reported him for sexual assault, despite the fact that Sweden is basically ultra-feminist and this kind of thing is par for the course there. I think they know better. They're just trying to twist the facts.
