    "It's obviously on a Schedule 1 for a reason." -- Some DEA shill

    That reason is simple: Richard Nixon couldn't outlaw being a hippie, so criminalizing aspects of their lifestyle was the next best thing. It had nothing to do with the Schedule 1 criteria, which psilocybin does not fit into, at all. It's all a bunch of garbage that's the legacy of the (second) most corrupt president in living memory.
