      @gdkar Mostly on Amiga.

      What gets me is that Free Software itself doesn't have much of a demo scene. People used to write fancy apps that did nothing other than look cool, and occasionally provide interactivity.

        @deadsuperhero @gdkar I don't know about now, but demoscene was a different culture. Because of the competitive nature of demos it was more closed with not much shared code and many demos written from scratch.
