Walking around in "the mall" where I used to go on Saturdays with my friends. My brother, my mom and I. This place has really changed.

In a really ritzy women's store. $112 clearance price for a generic looking handbag? Announcing "Walt's Purse Shop". Opening soon.

@lnxw48a1 With any clothing you're paying three figures or more for, you're paying for one of two things: complicated technical materials (usually in military and some trades wear, where for instance you have ripstop clothing or stuff meant to protect from electrical flashes), or youre paying for a designer to put their name on something and rip you off.

that does not sound like a ritzy price to me, even on clearance. I am not sure how many she has, but my dermatology friend has dropped $5k on a small purse on multiple occasions. It's hilarious, because her husband (an ENT surgeon) is one of the cheapest dudes I know.

dude can't ride his bike because his seat is shit and refuses to buy another seat. Anybody else and you'd think it was an excuse not to ride, lol

They renovated, expanded, modified. The mall is probably 45 or 50 years old, but it looks better than some that are decades younger.

They seem to have chased off most of the teens / early twenties hang out at the mall crowd (that would have included me and most of my friends when I was in that age group)

It was nice to see a mall where almost every space has an active tenant, with plenty of foot traffic throughout the mall’s interior and perimeter shopping areas.
