Stuart Langridge@scottjenson feels like a business model there. Just having something which is well-designed would put it way ahead of the pack; also not needing to install would put it right at the top. Although, presumably confs want it installed so they can send you notifications about stuff a year later. (Although although, a PWA could do that too, now.)
