  The demand for cruises to Alaska out of Seattle is huge, with bigger ships this year and more of them to meet that demand. To meet that demand, Seattle is working on building a new cruise port at Terminal 46. The cruise terminal will be sited where some of the largest container ships ever built have been able to dock. Mega cruise liners carrying more than 5,000 passengers can take advantage of the deep water near the terminal.
