Many users in my timeline voiced concerns over Librem deactivating abuse reports. Only one or two complained about rejecting non-public messages. Logically, I understand the decision to label Mastodon a place for public speech only. Saying it's private is a bit of an overstatement.

Yet somehow, that makes me feel a stranger who needs to whisper in one's ear in a place where everyone talks through a loudspeaker. 🤨
