Part of my culture and education is that everything is up for debate. I mean my little kids are learning in school how to read the debates that lead to our codified religious laws. We also debate just to fine tune our own point or to get someone else to do the same. I often take a seemingly contrary position so that an opinion will be explained more clearly. Most of the time I haven't made any opinions on the subject.
