    Is there a cut of GoT with all the nasty dismemberments and crap cut out so that I can watch the acting and sets and costumes without getting fully traumatized?

      @jakobpunkt You know, in my youth, I would've pooh-poohed this idea, but I think you're onto something. I watch GoT with a few friends, and lately they've all been kinda mentioning that the gore and grisly deaths have become a bit much. There's one at the end of SE8EP1 that even I was like, "whoa; Jesus guys, did we need to see _that_?"

      I think the era of the "PG" TV-edit are behind us, though.
