    I've been reading Low Tech Magazine and was inspired to try and make my home office (or my entire home!) off-grid.

    However, I've worked out that the savings would be minimal, even after 25 years. Kind of pointless when I live in the north of England: https://www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/scotland/tools-calculators/solar-energy-calculator
