Can anyone help with this?

I want to connect an external USB microphone to an android phone and be recognised as such so as to use it for podcasting eg by recording phone interviews either via Tel or by Signal. Phone port is usb c, mic port is USB b.
I've tried almost everything either by enabling otg etc but no luck..
