Karen C🥨👵🏻🌲🏖️@Matt5sean3 Antique stores are mostly for tourists. Stuff is surprisingly regional. Hoosier cabinets (which I wanted for a kitchen remodel) are not to be found in Kansas (outside of pricey ones in antique stores) but you see them at garage sales in the Pennsylvania area.
Plus you gotta negotiate; list prices are a suggestion. The number of times I've loitered in an antique mall while the clerk calls a booth owner to see if they'll accept my MIL's lowball offer on something... phew.
