      Roma needs to collect your data in order to post it. I believe it also collects crash reports when the app fails.

      To my knowledge, Pleroma (even the commercial side) does not possess any infrastructure to actually collect or process any data.

      @feld can elaborate more on these policies, but that is my general understanding based on talking with them about it.
