    Why are there no tech coops active in Ireland? I'd be interested in collaborating or joining if there were one out there, but I'm far too irresponsible to actually found one. :/

      @cathal I wondered about this too. My thoughts are that consumer tech is more expensive in Ireland than in, say, the US. Also, (historically) tech has attracted the interest of people in Ireland not usually aligned with the politics of co-operatives.

      Seomra Spraoi was the last group I was aware of to try something like this. They've disbanded now but the members are still around.
