    @_emacsomancer that's because analog signals don't care if the signal is high or low, it will output all the same.

    To be fair to digital, the analog signal is a huge bandwidth hog because it is uncompressed. Digital signal can cram more image in, or more channels, within the same bandwidth with no noticeable video or audio quality loss, because of compression.
