spending real time in the garden for the first time in awhile since I have some time off work. makes me wish I could spend more time doing this. there is so much stuff going on right now.

harvested the last of the garlic scapes and more peas. the grape vine has tiny fruits on it for the first time. the first heirloom tomato has fruited. the eggplants and squash are flowering. the angels trumpet is getting ready to pop, as are the bee balm, sunflowers, and black eyed susan. comfrey root fragments that I planted last fall have their first leaves. blueberries are ripening. there's an enormous amount of blackberries that will be ripe soon. I could go on and on. oh, also a ton of weeds! its not all glamorous out here.
