Mark Shane Hayden@clacke that might be what is needed for a lot of people to "fix the internet" but it will be a hard sell. We are all conditioned to want "discoverability" and federation critics/silo apologists already think that is lacking here.
To suggest we should actually make content LESS discoverable? We have huge companies who make billions from us and control us by ensuring we are no longer able to "self discover" or even want to. They won't easily give up that power.
