Your trip reminds of the summer my cousin and I bicycled from Amsterdam to Narbonne Plage(sp?) to meet our family that was on vacation there. Halfway through France it was drudgery. He was in much better shape than me and I struggled to keep up. I couldn't wait to get there. The bikes rode home on the roof of my uncle's car. Now I wish we'd had the time to ride home.
