    Neuroscientist Aniruddh Patel theorizes that dancing animals must:

    - be complex vocal learners, with the accompanying ability to connect sound and movement
    - be able to imitate movements
    - be able to learn complex sequences of actions
    - be attentive to the movements of others
    - form long-term social bonds

    And maybe must also be exposed to music.
