you ever think about how we all basically perform for each other a specific part of ourselves and hide the rest away that we don't want anyone to see

so it's easy to think others are better or cooler than you because you only see that small chunk of them with most of their flaws carefully hidden, while having to face all of your own flaws all the time. it's an unfair comparison
