@scribblefrog @lennie in ~2005 Tim Hortons extruded a product they deemed a "hot smoothie". It was basically flavoured steamed heavy cream. Absolutely revolting, like drinking motor oil poured straight from a car through a paper bag full of orange peels.

I imagine it was not dissimilar from what a hot milkshake would turn out to be.
