I feel like having participated in the atheo-skeptical world 10+ years ago was good practice. Lessons learned:

1. Some people are emotionally committed to not rocking the boat and will justify being a White Moderate(TM) any way they can post facto.

2. Culture gives men in authority freebies for sexual assault.

3. "Oh noes! The community is being *fractured*!" FUCKING GOOD, THEN. Some people I *want* on the other side of a Deep Rift from me and my loved ones.
