Once you get the hang of the terminology, the different edits, the kexts, you come to know that you can do only so much. This is in direct contrast to the unlimited things u can try on #gnu/Linux and the #bsd's. I have been thinking/trying since many years. Now, the time was ripe since I handed over the macbook pro to my son.
