@RussSharek The first one did so poorly that it scared the studios off?

Or maybe it was much harder in practice than it seems like it would be in theory?

I somehow doubt both of those things, though. I think that the biggest problem is really down to all the rights negotiations on both the movies themselves and the individual prints that would be required for doing a solid restoration.
