      haha, isn't it obvious by now? if you want a space where people can be themselves and work on FOSS most of the time you have to build it yourself. the Old Guard simply Do Not Understand.

         and why does the Old Guard not understand? that one is complicated but largely imo has to do with the fact that the Old Guard are mostly old corporate executive boomers.
         
         they learned how to compute using COBOL. they see the world from this Boomer mindset. and frankly, fuck working with boomers. we need to energize the future, not conform to the social norms of the past.
