  5/5: It was a very gruesome dark read, but sometimes I need that to counter balance all the fluff I read. It was short but fun. I feel so much for Mateo and I’m torn on Devin. I feel like a full fledged novel could be written out of this, like the mystery behind their parents death and the pestering of Mike, Mateo’s friend. But then again, i do enjoy the short and “sweet” misery Mateo is going through. And I’m to read a novel where the Villain finally wins. Its fun!
