I don't know what the next few months will hold. I don't believe Johnson has any better idea either. He's a cynical manipulator, but now he's /reached/ his goal: now what?

It feels very unlikely Parliament will let crashing out happen; there are a lot of self-serving hacks, but they all know better than to let themselves be cut out of the process.

Beyond that - it gets fuzzy once an election's involved, as the current polling figures leave so many safe seats up for grabs, falling in either direction. Hence the frustration at the recent Labour revelation that they do need to back a PV regardless.
