LB: i kind of like to picture gender and sexuality like this penrose triangle or maybe like a moebius strip. not sides of a coin, not a spectrum, all just different, innumerable points on the edges of a single surface, where our perspective makes us think there are distinct sides but it's all really the same thing

like i don't like the idea of "spectrum" because it implies there are distinct ends, like being 100% straight or 100% gay is possible, and special
like what's it mean to be ABSOLUTELY heterosexual? you've never considered ANY quality of somebody of your same gender attractive, ever? and when you begin to ponder what gender actual means as something separate from the sex you are born with, well, uhhh that's even messier
