   the kansas department of health and environment office of vital statistics apparently is requiring a notarized affidavit for gender marker changes

   the affidavit was Last-Modified: Thu, 27 Jun 2019 15:22:59 GMT on their website, four business days after the order was filed

   and the court order does not specify a notarized affidavit, but instead a "sworn statement"

         (the letter I got says "change the gender marker" but the affidavit says "sex" presumably because that's what the field is called on the birth certificate)
