    so what if you sliced a series of qr codes and stacked them behind a filter that showed you the QR codes sequentially as you walked past - make sure you move your phone slowly enough to get > 1 frame per code, slice, decode, decompress, and go.

      of course at that point might as well just have a cheap display flipping through the sequence at 10fps in a loop with a loop start marker
