   in regard to that published IRC log, i will simply say that the meaning of the word "friend" in that IRC log was in the context of "i was friends with her on Mastodon", which at the time was true: i used to follow her and we used to interact from time to time. it was not until after i quit using Mastodon that I stopped following and interacting with her.

      besides, the whole point i was making is quite valid: leave people who want to be left alone the fuck alone (especially if they have mental health problems), and just be the bigger person and get over yourself, and let go of the fact that they don't agree with your interpretation of things.

         at any rate, speculating on Ginny's mental health was out of line, even for the purpose of illustrating a point. to that end, I believe I owe her a public apology, so I hereby apologize to her for that. i'm not going to make any excuses for that, because there's no point in doing so.
