      I think you mean #KWLinuxfest, only loosely related to #KWLUG (two Linux enthusiast groups in the same community, with considerable overlap in membership). The Call For Presentations is open until 1 November 2017, then the selection committee starts the evaluation process. Should know a couple of weeks after that. @KWLinuxfest@twitter.com and @KWLUG@sn.jonkman.ca, also !KWLUG on sn.jonkman.ca (but for some reason I can't subscribe to groups on my own (other) server)
