      @woodcat well, taking a screenshot of Blender UI as an example for monthly redesign isn't really fair…

      It was redesigned this year.
      Blender 2.5 last redesign was published in 2009, 10 years(!) ago.
      That not even a frequent redesign…

      And yet the recent redesign keeps globally the same logic, is not a revolution as was the redesign from 2.49 to 2.5.
      And most people agree that's a great improvement.

        I could say the same for the "one hundred thousand buttons"* : that's something that exist in a lot of free software, yet this is a screenshot of Blender UI that has something like 15 years, and current (or even post 2.5) UI is very different. Yet this is not a general public software, but a specialized one. And compare it to the equivalent software in the proprietary world, they are way worse for some of them.

        * yet I'd understand that's a bit different, and just an example.
