    @irl Leaking metadata was one of *three* arguments to not relay on email encryption.

    For me, a fellow and happy OpenPGP/GnuPG user, that article is not FUD and presents *many* valid arguments. Granted, it has some weak parts like e.g. compering centralized Signal with decentralized GnuPG
    🤦 (also Signal has blobs in its APK 🤦🤦)

    Also those recommendations aren’t for us but for common folks.

    GnuPG is excellent for some exceptional scenarios but that exception confirms the rule.

      @irl PS I wrote that ’cuz I care about gpg and I think our community shouldn’t easily dismiss some valid points ‘hidden’ in an non‑ideal and (highly) opinionated criticism.
