Something about this anlysis of the Sifra Ditseniā€˜uta tickles at me:

A cosmology that says there were 'six created' that fell and were / will be restored, plus another 'thirteen' through whose compassion the six are raised?

seems to echo the idea elsewhere in Jewish thought that 'one third of the stars/angels fell' and another two thirds did not fall

The obvious connection to Sefer Yetzirah, of course, being that 'the six' represent the faces of a cube and the 'thirteen' are the edges

So.... the sides fell off the Cube of Space, but the lattice remained?
