The golden era of blogging is yet to come. Everyone else who would rather use a different mode of expression/platform have now moved to various "social media" platforms. Those who truly want to write and express themselves will continue to blog. Only good content, good writing will survive and make an impact.

Lohan G (lohang@mastodon.social)'s status on Monday, 22-Jul-2019 12:05:19 EDT Lohan G @whistlewright I like that. I've been toying with the idea of going back to one of those sites to publish things I write. I think it will liberate writers / content creators by giving them time and space to think; to publish slowly prepared, good stuff.

Blogs don't do enough, in my opinion, to enable and encourage owners to integrate and refine their works, improving the quality of their sites and the web as a whole.
