The people who support the Union (between Scotland & England) use the argument that it is one of equals. In practice, of course, that isn't the case. Scotland has only 59 MPs (Commons) out of a total of 650. England has 533, more than Scotland, Wales & N. Ireland combined. The parliament always delivers what England wants. Brexit is the most obvious example.
