public announcement: please defederate from my instance if you are an administrator who refuses to differentiate between users and the instances these users are on

please share this message with any instance administrator you believe is too unintelligent / ignorant to understand that instances have autonomous users and that instances cannot be held accountable for users' actions. i keep talking about how i'm tired of instance meta so i decided i'll take an initiative to stop any more of it, at least where it involves me and my instance. i hope administrators can change their minds and deal with users individually, only resorting to blocks when it is perfectly clear the instance itself has the *sole purpose* of harbouring disruptive activity
