   Yesterday I went for a 70 km bike ride 'exploring the Raisin River' - fgollowing the river from its mouth on the St Lawrence. up through some historic mill towns in Glengarry and Stormont counties in Eastern Ontario. It was a brilliant day, not too hot, not too long, and endlessly interesting.       @Downes the clouds, the river as big as a sea, the sleepy houses with nothing but trees around, and the little shop with the sale - and that dragonfly on a rock.

      These are just the sort of things that temp me to come back to N. America one day. All the best bits of places I knew.

      What an amazing ride.
