Matthew Skala@Olivia Funny thing. I'm from BC, where logging, and subsequent tree planting, are a big thing. Tree planters are typically college students on summer break. It's rough work, doesn't take much skill, pays on a piecework basis which means the money is only good if you work unreasonably hard. And when you're not working, you're out in the bush, what is there to do? Well, I've not been there, but I've heard from people who have that what tree-planters do in their off time is smoke crack.
