   Oh boy, it's that time of the year where random people from half a world away start randomly adding me on Facebook.

   It's kind of funny - I'm totally down with utter strangers on the federated web, but on centralized services I get super weirded out by it.

      @deadsuperhero Similarly I don't use Facebook much and I limit it to people I've met or worked with and who are not in the fediverse. I tend to view it as just a way of communicating with those specific people and not as a general debating forum with the public at large.
