    I just commented on a diaspora post with my friendica account and now I can interact with the comment through mastodon so basically there is a bridge between the two sides of the federation. I can only see the comment but not what it is in response to. Wish mastodon showed more metadata in the UI

        That was what initially led me to spend so much time exploring the fediverse. I couldn't believe how many things didn't talk to each other
