Thinking back in the early days of the mobile internet. I had a feature phone. The camera was total potato so I carried a Canon Powershot with me everywhere. I used SMS to tweet while I was out. I had to come home to share my pictures.

Later I used the USB DUN protocol to tether from my Motorola Razr phone to my bulky Linux laptop. It was slow but it worked.
