What the "Hinterland Who's Who" info spots from Parks & Wildlife Canada don't tell us:
- fawns sound like squeaky toys;
- does don't really fight. The "aggressor" doe hoofs at the belly of the reclining doe to say "hey, hey, don't you have somewhere else to be?" And the defensive doe gets up and walks away like "yes, I do. Thank you for reminding me. I'm due for my 16h00 graze on Beecher Street." Then the aggressor doe silently leaves the territory, fawn following.
