In looking for ways to reduce the amount of stuff that goes in my garbage bin, I stumbled across #solar digesters. These appear to be able to take all your food waste, including meat and bones, as well as dog poop, and break it down. My question is, is it just high-temperature decomposition, or does it become anaerobic enough to produce methane? Part of the reason I don't want to send it to landfill is to avoid methane. ...
