      Il peut arriver qu'une carte bancaire enregistrée dans un compte App Store arrive à expiration. Dans ce cas, les abonnements souscrits dans des applications ne peuvent pas être automatiquement renouvelés et les services offerts sont purement et simplement coupés. Pour éviter ces coupures de service intempestives dues à une tentative ratée de renouvellement d'abonnement, Apple a mis au point un système de délai de grâce.
