When a server decides to silence or suspend another server on their side, it's that server curating it's experience.

We're not discriminating against anyone, and we're not limiting their right to speak. They are still able to keep doing all those things on their own server.

We are however choosing to tune out, because we know we're not interested in what they have to say.
It's kind of like deciding against listening to a radio channel. They still retain their right to speak, we're just choosing not to listen.

There are a few cases of this being a preventative measure, in the case of Elekk, we know that we don't want to listen to Gab, or Kiwi-farms. We know they will harass our members.

And as a server we made a promise to our users when they signed up. We promised that we'd protect them from harm.

When users then, from say gab, make accounts on OTHER SERVERS, to circumvent our blocks, they are proving our point.
