    China is launching a Social Credit System, which is intended to award “trustworthy citizens”. It will mandatory by 2020.

    In the meantime, advertisers can track the faces of the people looking at billboards and have an estimate of their mood.

    Now combine the two things and imagine a government that gives you a score based on your mood, and the happier you look, the more privileges they give you.
