    by the way I intend to extend the block API in Pleroma to allow the end user to specify on a block-by-block basis what they want their instance to do, allowing them to choose from silently blocking (no side effects federated), side effects federated but no explicit disclosure of the block and mastodon-style federated block messages. this won't make 1.1 but it is something that I want to do, as there are cases where you may not want the blockee to know they were blocked, and other cases where you may. right now the behaviour is defined by the config file.
