    @mngrif dude I am soooo in love with btrfs. The compression is way more impressive than i thought and backuping up off disk is virtually instant.

    I use 47 gigs of actual data and my root is compressed with lzo (the fastest, worst ratio) and my total compressed size is only 30 gigs!

    Better yet on my backup drive where i use zlib compression which is much better but also a bit slower my compressed size is only 24 gigs!

    It has basically doubled my disk size AND using lzo is even faster than raw sometimes, certainly not noticably slower usually like you might expect. Plus it takes me like a minute to incrementally back up to an external disk.
